CRA Philadelphia Participates in EnviroFest

In May of each year, CRA's Philadelphia office sponsors and participates in EnviroFest, an environmental expo for the local community.  This event is hosted by the Green Valleys Association, a local watershed association, whose mission is to protect and preserve the quality and quantity of water resources in northern Chester County through advocacy and education.  The 2009 EnviroFest theme was Solutions for Sustainable Living and included a 5K Water Hero Run/Walk for clean water, as well as a family bike tour.  The 2009 expo focused on renewable energy and provided hands-on demos and information related to house and home, land management and landscaping, water conservation, environmental policy and advocacy, and local and organic foods.  CRA employees, families, and friends were on hand to advertise CRA's work for clients in the local community and provide education on topics such as wetlands, threatened and endangered species, stream surveys, and water quality assessments.
