Soo CANstruction
The CRA Sault Ste. Marie office sponsored and participated in Soo CANstruction, an event held between March 23-25, 2007, at Station Mall to raise food for the Sault Community Soup Kitchen, Vincent Place, and the Algoma University Food Bank.
Competitive teams showcased their talents by designing sculptures made entirely out of canned foods which were donated to the local food banks. At the end of the competition over 13,000 cans of food had been collected. CRA's team of seven donated $900 of canned food and they received Honourable Mention for their penguin and igloo structures.
